Welcome to the new home of 2 Nations Female Hockey. We are excited to launch our new and improved website which will help us better serve the female hockey community in Winnipeg and the surrounding areas.
2 Nations Female Hockey was established in 2007; however, its early years were spent operating a spring league in Manitoba, North Dakota, and Minnesota. The staff at 2NFH wanted to do more for female hockey and in 2010 became more than a female spring hockey league. We have expanded and become a year round broad-based female specific hockey organization.
With that 2NFH struck a 2-phase strategic alliance with the Pembina Trails School Division. In 2012 the first phase of the agreement was launched to run the Shaftesbury Titans Prep female hockey team. In addition, we are in the final stages of launching the second phase with our Grassroots hockey program throughout the Pembina Trails School Division. This program will offer Learn to Skate, Learn to Play across the division.
In addition to these exciting initiatives, 2NFH also runs camps, leagues, showcases, and teams. Be sure to check back as the website updates continue to be added.
2 Nations Female Hockey is exciting to announce that Phil Marcoux has joined the organization. Phil officially started in January but his efforts go back to the spring and summer of 2013 where he was an assistant coach with the Jr Titans spring program and an instructor at the pre-season conditioning camp.
Phil will assist in some of the daily operations and will work on existing and new initiatives. He will be a great addition to the team. Welcome aboard!
